Seniors Support & Wellbeing Program

Supporting Seniors Through Connection, Community, and Wellbeing

KWH Seniors Shield is a community-centered seniors initiative focused on reducing social isolation, strengthening community connection, and supporting the wellbeing of older adults through accessible and meaningful engagement opportunities.

Through friendly visits, social activities, wellness programming, and community connection initiatives, Seniors Shield creates supportive spaces where seniors can remain engaged, connected, and valued within their communities.

Many seniors experience loneliness, isolation, and limited opportunities for consistent social interaction. Seniors Shield was created to help address these challenges by building pathways for companionship, engagement, and stronger community relationships.
